WHO WE ARE ?

After a long business life in Istanbul, we created our new world in Yesiluzumlu which is one km far from the nearest settlement...

To head for the tranquility, to discover the magical world where the pressures of modern life can be all left behind. 

We live with animals, cultivate our own vegi, hunt mushrooms, discover endemic wild herbs and flowers, explore herbarium.

We are all happy to learn villagers domestic food style, experience DASTAR weaving, explore history, explore environment by foot ….

And share this dream with friends and guests.

Running a place like Dikencik Cottages is hard work but volunteers are queuing up to help. In exchange for about 5-6 hours a day of work volunteers from all over the world gets board and lodging. They are the friends to exchange culture…bringing new colors to our life…

WHERE WE ARE ?

Dikencik Cottages are nestled in tranquil forest just 20 kilometres north-east of Fethiye, Dikencik is a perfect retreat from the bustle of city life, close to the city, yet a world away.

From Fethiye follow the signs for Yesiluzumlu and Cadianda . When you reach Yesiluzumlu follow the signs of Cadianda, pass its turning point, after 200 meters enter the forest road and keep the road.  After app.1 km  you will see the DIKENCIK sign to enter the land.
